Security Officer - Part Time

📋 Description

• Walk the property; check buildings, equipment, and access points; secure doors.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems for issues.
• Test and maintain security equipment; report problems; assist evaluating tools.
• Control access by greeting and authorizing people entering.
• Investigate concerns; report suspicious activity to Security Manager or police.
• Respond to alarms quickly; follow procedures to keep people safe.
• Complete accurate reports; keep records up to date; ensure timely submissions.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver's license for the state where applying.
• At least 25 years old.
• 2+ years in safety or security with First Aid and CPR.
• Stay calm, communicate clearly, and de-escalate conflicts.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule; some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Trained in non-violent communication, de-escalation, and assertiveness.
