Security Officer II

📋 Description

• Verify identity and authorization for visitors, contractors, and employees
• Issue and manage visitor and temporary credentials
• Patrol buildings, perimeters, and secure workspaces
• Identify risks or security gaps and report to leadership
• Support post-incident discussions with observations when appropriate
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and safety-related situations with sound judgment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card (or ability to obtain)
• 5+ years in security operations (aerospace/industrial preferred)
• Incident response, report writing, and enforcing security standards
• Preferred training in de-escalation, emergency response, or defensive tactics
• Ability to work independently within procedures
