Security Officer - 1st shift (Sunday- Wednesday)

📋 Description

• Verify identities of employees, customers, and visitors at entry/exit.
• Monitor interior and exterior cameras; address policy infractions, emergencies, or suspicious activity.
• Control visitor access; issue temporary badges and deny entry when criteria are not met.
• Log all entries with the PeopleTracker system.
• Patrol building interiors/exteriors; document findings, check doors/windows, tampering, and secure locks.
• Monitor alarms and respond; notify authorities and act as first responder for medical emergencies.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years related experience/training.
• Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Punctual, reliable, flexible; willing to work additional hours as needed.
• Basic computer skills required.
