Security Engineer I

📋 Description

• Identify threats and vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure; mentor remediation.
• Collaborate with SRE and development teams to reduce vulnerabilities at scale.
• Develop repeatable security processes and frameworks.
• Advocate for secure by default and secure by build development strategies.
• Review quality issues and detect obvious and subtle security flaws.
• Assist with prioritising projects and end-to-end delivery from kickoff to done.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year security engineering across domains (architecture, cryptography, network, cloud, mobile, web).
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical security expertise.
• Experience in threat modelling, secure code review and penetration testing.
• Solid knowledge of security controls across OSI layers for common tech.
• Experience applying security guidelines aligned with security and privacy compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Secure SDLC/Shift Left; scripting (Python/PowerShell).
