Security Engineer, Data Center

📋 Description

• Design and implement security controls for data center IT/OT networks.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and security teams for resilient outcomes.
• Secure OT and IT networks through segmentation, access control, monitoring.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews for data center systems.
• Perform audits and validation across OT and IT networking controls.
• Drive evidence collection and remediation to close deficiencies.
• Define security standards, control objectives, audit procedures.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and post-incident improvements.
• Work with suppliers to evaluate risks from third-party hardware/firmware.
• Evolve data center security as infrastructure and threat landscape change.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in security with large-scale infrastructure or data centers.
• Deep OT/IT networking security expertise in critical infra, incl segmentation and remote access.
• Experience building audit/assurance programs for OT/IT networking.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with autonomy.
• Knowledge of security engineering across network security, IAM/PAM, hardening, and monitoring.
• Experience protecting hyperscale, colocation, or hybrid infra.
• Familiarity with NIST/ISO 27001/SOC 2; translate to technical requirements.
• High-ownership individual contributor with strong technical judgment.
• Clear communication to explain risk and controls to technical/non-technical partners.
