Define and maintain mechanical engineering standards and governance.
Establish design review structures (PDR, CDR, FDR) for mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with EN, ISO, pressure equipment, vacuum and structural standards.
Oversee mechanical design assurance and technical sign-off processes.
Develop structured documentation and evidence management with Systems Engineering.
Provide cross-project mechanical expertise across laser, vacuum, and FOAK plant systems.

🎯 Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSc or PhD preferred)
10+ years in complex mechanical system design
Background in laser/vacuum/high-tech R&D fields
Proven team leadership experience
Strong expertise in structural, thermal, and mechanical integration
Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
