Extend Java and Python test automation for Desktop IDE plugins.
Drive AI-powered tests: AI generation, LLM coding, visual detection.
Design and execute tests across functional, integration, UI, performance, and security.
Ensure plugin behavior and UX across IDE versions, frameworks, and OS.
Collaborate with plugin team to plan coverage and provide early feedback.
Apply exploratory, regression, and compatibility testing to uncover defects.
Contribute to code reviews to improve code and test quality.
Engineer data generation and environment tooling for large-scale testing.

🎯 Requirements

3-5 years of proven QA/Test Automation experience.
Proficiency in Java and/or Python; write test code, not just cases.
Experience building and evolving automated test frameworks.
Hands-on testing of desktop apps or IDE plugins; UI automation.
Cross-platform testing across Windows, macOS, Linux.
UI automation and visual testing with element detection.
