School Registered Behavior Technician

📋 Description

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams; respect families' values
• Implement ABA techniques and collaborate with teachers to support students
• Document interventions and progress toward goals
• Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan
• Provide training and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills

🎯 Requirements

• RBT Certification or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA)
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
