Provide social emotional and mental health counseling to students
Set long-term programming visions and lead implementation for school and communities
Work with students in 1:1 or small groups; document interventions
Guide families on supporting students; discuss progress and IEPs; host events and communications
Advise teachers and Head of School on wellbeing programs
Coordinate with external agencies
Lead ad-hoc programs/operations for Starbase Education

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years working with students in teaching or counseling
Texas Licensed Professional Counselor or school counselor certification or social worker credential
Master’s degree in counseling, education, psychology, social work, or related field
Experience working with parents of students
Experience planning and implementing education programs
