Saviynt is a leading cloud-based Identity Governance and Administration (IGA/IAM) solutions
provider. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GL Accountant with minimum 5
years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in general ledger
accounting, financial reporting and process improvement. This role requires a Basic
understanding of U.S. GAAP / IFRS with moderate analytical skills. The ideal
candidate will act as a subject matter expert for the allocated areas to ensure the
accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Own and manage cash & bank transactions, including daily postings,reconciliations, and related entries. Record and reconcile credit card transactions and statements and ensureaccurate expense coding and timely posting of credit card expenses Assist with maintaining the general ledger and posting journal entries forPrepaid amortization and Depreciation on Fixed Assets. Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and timingdifferences within the set month close timelines. Perform high-level balance sheet and P&L analysis, including identifyingmissing accruals, month on month variances and providing insights to seniorleadership. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, andPayroll teams to clear the open items in a timely manner. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and ensure auditreadiness with clean and accurate reconciliations and supportingdocumentation. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation andschedules as required. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improvedata accuracy. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance (CA or CMA fully orpartly qualified are strongly preferred) Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) andMicrosoft Excel Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Exposure: Experience in Tech Industry or a Captive Shared Services is highly desirable Knowledge of tools such as Floqast, Concur, NetSuite or any other ERP of similar standard
