📋 Description

  • Identify market opportunities for OpenGov in the public sector
  • Become a product expert on OpenGov's cloud-based platform for governments
  • Develop prospecting strategies with Account Executives to hit monthly quotas
  • Cultivate meetings using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Outreach to generate inbound leads
  • Expand business within designated prospect lists and jurisdictional categories
  • Clearly communicate OpenGov's value and establish credibility with potential clients

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years in sales or a customer-facing role (internships, campus jobs, etc.)
  • Background in B2B, SaaS, finance, budgeting, and/or accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM system is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with G Suite and other business software.
  • Self-motivated, creative, results-oriented with adaptability.
