About the Team and Role

Join the forefront of innovation at Rubrik as a Senior Sales Engineer focused on our groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. You will be a crucial member of the Rubrik Go To Market (GTM) Team, a high-impact, elite organization responsible for incubating new products developed by Rubrik Product and Engineering or acquired through strategic M&A.

This is a unique opportunity to be the technical pioneer who helps define the product direction and market strategy for Rubrik’s emerging technologies. You will work directly with our Product and Engineering teams to understand cutting-edge technologies and emerging markets, translating Rubrik’s vision into tangible solutions that help our customers achieve cyber resilience through AI acceleration. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects in the development and positioning of Rubrik's Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serve as an AI subject matter expert when positioning AI capabilities to key accounts.
  • Lead technical sales calls, gather & analyze customer feedback, and identify trends.
  • Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process, and funding.
  • Acts as a technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned customers.
  • Secure the technical win in Rubrik’s AI sales campaigns.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence with product management to ensure product roadmap alignment with customer demands.
  • Assist with the development of marketing and sales collateral to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical accuracy.
  • Aid in the development and delivery of technical enablement to Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, navigating complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships with and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, engineering & IT teams, and more.
  • Strong technical communication skills with the ability to translate customer requirements between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience designing scalable AI solutions and integrating with enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of LLMs and AI technologies and frameworks, with the ability to guide customers on optimization best practices.
  • Familiarity with common agentic workflows and builder technologies.
  • Technical acumen with understanding of APIs, integration concepts, and software development principles.
  • Comfortable with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • General knowledge of Internet networking technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complicated topics in easily understandable terms to a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders. You enjoy engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities.
  • Excellent ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences, from developers to executives.
