About the Role

Join our People & Culture team at ROLLER as our new Learning & Development Business Partner! Your mission? Spark employee growth by designing and implementing creative, fun, and impactful learning programs tailored to ROLLER’s high-performing culture. You’ll collaborate internally across departments to identify skills gaps, align training with business goals, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. From the Senior Leadership team to every ROLLER, you’ll have the opportunity to influence and inspire at all levels. Get ready to kick off exciting initiatives like building a Leadership program, promoting psychological safety and enhancing asynchronous communication!

Please note: This is a hybrid role based in Sydney which means you can work in our Sydney office, work from home and also travel to our other offices when needed .

 

What You'll Do

Training Needs & Program Design:

  • Conduct regular assessments to uncover training needs
  • Craft engaging and interactive training programs using modern instructional design methods
  • Create a mix of learning materials, including in-person sessions, e-learning modules, videos, webinars and hands-on workshops

Training Delivery & Tech Integration:

  • Lead fun and interactive in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Use a mix of methods to cater to different learning styles
  • Keep our learning management system (LMS) updated
  • Stay on top of the latest tech trends to keep our training fresh and exciting

Evaluation & Feedback:

  • Create and administer assessments to measure training success
  • Collect and analyse feedback to continually improve our training programs
  • Show off the impact and ROI of our training efforts with data

Employee Engagement & Development:

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Run fun initiatives like hackathons, innovation labs, and knowledge sharing sessions
  • Offer coaching and support to help employees achieve their personal and professional goals

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Partner closely with managers and department heads to align training with business goals
  • Experiment with new training methods to keep things fresh and engaging

 

About You
  • Bring 7 to 10 years in L&D, HR, or a related field
  • You have experience creating and delivering Leadership/Management and Psychological Safety training
  • You’re an expert at juggling multiple training projects at once
  • Hands on with LMS and educational technologies
  • Stellar written & verbal communicator
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles
  • Creative thinker with a flair for designing engaging training programs
  • Passionate about continuous learning and professional development
  • Positive, friendly and able to motivate others

Nice to Have:

  • DiSC accreditation is a plus!
  • A background in L&D within a tech company
