Senior Payroll Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage monthly payroll cycles across EMEA.
• Validate and reconcile payroll outputs: taxation, deductions, benefits.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation (HMRC, Dutch tax, pensions).
• Audit payroll records; ensure correct tax codes, benefits, deductions.
• Partner with external payroll providers to review calculations.
• Administer statutory payments (UK SSP/SMP) and local equivalents.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of hands-on payroll experience across EMEA.
• Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation; strong EMEA payroll.
• Experience with external payroll vendors and HRIS (Workday preferred).
• Proven ability to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• CIPP or European payroll certification (or working toward).
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliation).
