Staff Offensive Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Red Teaming to validate assumptions and improve detections.
• Threat modeling for critical services to articulate risk.
• Penetration testing of production infrastructure, apps, networks, and processes.
• Adversarial simulations with Detection and Response teams.
• Partner with security teams on decisions and hardening.
• Build tooling to automate Red Team assessments.
• Lead security incidents when findings require escalation.
• Publish blog posts and present at security conferences.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of Red Team experience.
• Experience mentoring other team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to engineers and executives.
• Comfortable reading/writing Python, Go, and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI, Kubernetes/Docker, AWS and/or GCP; provide hardening guidance.
• Familiar with DNS, TCP/IP and other network protocols.
• Experience with macOS and Linux.
• Knowledge of defensive tools/techniques and evasion strategies.
• Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Strong grasp of access and identity security fundamentals.
• Ability to research and execute testing plans for new tech.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
