About the Role

Rho is looking for a Social Media Intern (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) to help us grow our presence across social platforms and connect with the next generation of startup founders.

You’ll own Rho’s short-form social channels — TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts — creating entertaining, smart, and founder-relevant content that builds awareness of Rho’s startup banking offerings. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who lives and breathes internet culture, has a sharp eye for trends, and knows how to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Video Storytelling, Events & Community, and Brand Design teams to produce and distribute content that amplifies Rho’s brand, community, and key initiatives.

This role is based in NYC and requires being in-office five days a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Rho’s short-form social strategy across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

  • Create and publish high-quality, viral content that’s entertaining, educational, and aligned with startup culture

  • Capture and edit short-form videos — from quick trend takes to polished founder stories

  • Build and grow Rho’s organic social following, driving reach and engagement through creative experimentation

  • Partner with internal teams to bring campaigns, community events, and product moments to life on social

  • Track performance metrics, identify what’s working, and iterate for growth

  • Be the go-to voice for what’s trending — from sounds and formats to founder memes

About You

  • Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts — you understand what performs and why

  • You’ve grown an account on one or more of these channels to 100K+ followers

  • Skilled in shooting, editing, and producing short-form video content (phone + camera)

  • Strong creative sense — you can spot trends early and translate them into content that fits Rho’s voice

  • Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and tech culture

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Based in New York City and able to work onsite full-time

Hourly rate: up to $30
