About the role

This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage daily operations for multiple entities. Working closely with the team, you will perform detailed tasks to support the month-end close and financial reporting process, with a focus on Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily postings and entries for Serbian and Polish entities (AP, bank statements, accruals, prepaid expenses)

  • Manage Accounts Payable and weekly payments for Serbian and Polish entities and prepare payment orders.

  • Manage Accounts Payable process for the US entity including seeking approvals, payment confirmations, vendor accruals, and posting/syncing to Netsuite.

  • Assist with preparing relevant tax documentation for Serbian and Polish entities.

  • Communicate and liaise with third-party accounting agencies, for audit, tax, and other special and regulatory projects, providing all relevant documents and information promptly.

  • Assist with monthly Close and Consolidation of multiple entities and translation of currencies

  • Ensure appropriate documentation and support for all accounting records.

  • Partner daily with other departments, such as People, Legal, and Engineering, to drive cross-functional initiatives forward, including reporting on employee and financial information.

  • Work closely with the International Finance team on special projects and review records.

  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing day-to-day postings/journal entries with a BA/BS degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

  • Good understanding of the VAT rules

  • Experience running payroll process independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively and appropriately interface with a variety of individuals or groups frequently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with NetSuite/Calculus preferred

  • Proficient in Excel and Word

  • Excellent knowledge of English and proficient in verbal and written forms

  • Experience with multiple entities and currencies preferred
