RF Software Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Drive program-level RF system design decisions
• Research novel solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems
• Design, build, validate, and automate RF test benches for full RF designs using VNA/VSG/VSA
• Design modular, scalable RF test infrastructure and automation in Python and C++
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to validate RF systems
• Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware to evaluate performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• 1+ year C/C++ or Python development experience
• 1+ year RF test equipment experience (spectrum analyzers, VSA, VSG, network analyzers)
• 1+ year RF experience with antennas or communications systems
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Experience with testing active and passive RF devices (filters, amplifiers, mixers)
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
