RF/Microwave Engineer, Satellites (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Simulate and model communication systems
• Collaborate with system architects, RF/antenna engineers, DSP/ASIC to partition HW/SW
• Assess feasibility of designs to support architectural definition
• Derive top-level specs for RF links and antenna subsystems
• Characterize and analyze system performance
• Provide technical support to regulatory, coordination, and market access teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or related
• 1+ years RF/microwave circuit design experience (internships/co-ops allowed)
• 1+ years using 3D EM tools: CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, XFDTD
• Master’s degree or 2+ yrs in RF/microwave circuits or EM theory
• PA/LNA/mixers/filters/PLLs design experience
• Strong RF passive components knowledge
• Test equipment: spectrum analyzers, VNAs
• Digital comms: QPSK/APSK/QAM
• RF/microwave design using ADS/HFSS/AWR
• Schematic/Layout with Altium Designer
• Matlab/Python/C++ for RF modeling
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends
