RF Designer

📋 Description

• Take RF hardware from conception to design, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit ops.
• Design and simulate RF subsystems (filters, amplifiers, transitions).
• Perform component selection for RF frontend circuits.
• Design and layout RF frontend PCBs and antennas; support fabrication.
• Contribute to trade studies and hardware radio system designs.
• Familiar with RF architectures and components; P1dB, IP3, NF.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent; graduate degree desirable.
• 5+ years with RF circuit and/or antenna design.
• 5+ yrs RF circuit sim tools (ADS, Microwave Office) and PCB tools (Altium, Cadence).
• Impedance matching, Smith chart, network analysis, RF filters.
• Familiar with RF architectures and components; P1dB, IP3, NF.
• Comfortable with RF measurements: spectrum analyzers and VNAs.
