Research and obtain medical records and supporting docs; submit with claims for prompt reimbursement.
Follow up with payers by phone to confirm receipt and prompt reimbursement.
Prepare and submit initial Workers' Comp bill packets or appeals with docs.
Other duties as required.

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
1-2+ years in healthcare billing or collections.
1+ year client-facing/customer service experience.
1+ year workers' comp billing/collections preferred.
Intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing.
Strong computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
