📋 Description

  • Analyze VA claim payments using EnableComp software and tools.
  • Determine reimbursements align with state fee schedules using payer docs.
  • Research and obtain medical records; submit with claims to VA/TriWest.
  • Follow up with payers by phone to ensure receipt and prompt reimbursement.
  • Prepare VA initial bill packets or appeal letters with documentation.
  • Perform other duties as required.

🎯 Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2-4+ years healthcare billing or collections experience.
  • 2+ years client-facing/customer service experience.
  • 1+ year VA billing and collections experience; other claims a plus.
  • Intermediate understanding of payer/provider claims processing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of government and veteran benefit programs.
  • Strong computer proficiency; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Equivalent education and experience considered.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Adheres to EnableComp Core Values, Vision and Mission.
  • Meets/exceeds productivity targets and goals.
  • Self-starter; works independently without supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with external clients; strong customer service and business acumen.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Remain stationary 50% of the time.
  • Occasional moves inside the office.
  • Operates computer and office equipment (copy/scan/print, phone).
