Revenue Cycle Associate - Collections

📋 Description

• Verify claim submitted to correct insurance.
• Review/update patient demographics for accuracy.
• Process and validate payor requests and claims; review EOBs.
• Investigate denied services; determine reason and pursue appeals.
• Process appeals: submission, tracking, reporting, outcomes.
• Maximize use of Billing system and tools to support cash collection.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in Medical Collections at a diagnostics company or healthcare provider.
• Hands-on experience with the entire appeals process.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, PPO, HMO, and Indemnity Plans structures.
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes and related coverage concepts.
• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
