Revenue Accounting

📋 Description

• Manage daily revenue accounting ops and ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Own month-end revenue close; review reconciliations and journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, and unbilled receivables.
• Manage AR accounting, reconciliations, aging analysis, and recording of customer receivables.
• Lead CECL aging analysis and collaborate with AR and Collections to develop AR metrics.
• Perform month-end close flux analysis; explain variances in revenue and AR balances.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance Ops, Billing, and partners on strategic processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 326.
• Experience with AR accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience collaborating across departments to influence change.
• Ownership mindset; able to identify issues and drive initiatives to completion with minimal supervision.
