Revenue Accountant, Commercial Controllership

📋 Description

• Review and summarize customer arrangements with non-standard terms for revenue recognition per policy and GAAP.
• Prepare and book journal entries for revenue and cost treatments.
• Identify and allocate revenue for Multiple-Element Arrangements per GAAP.
• Coordinate with Sales for pre/post-sales support on revenue recognition, including quote review.
• Perform monthly revenue-close tasks and reconciliations for deferred revenue.
• Ensure process integrity by understanding systems, controls, and improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting
• CPA designation, or ability to qualify, preferred
• 1-3 years of accounting and analysis experience, revenue a plus
• Experience and knowledge with ASC 606 compliance guidelines
• Recent public accounting experience or revenue experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirable
• Knowledge of accounting for Multiple-Element Arrangements
