Retro develops therapies for diseases driven by the biology of aging. We focus on cellular reprogramming and autophagy to rejuvenate cell and tissue function with the ultimate aim of adding 10 years to healthy human lifespan.

We are currently hiring someone to be the welcoming presence for Retro’s front desk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, candidates, and delivery drivers. This is the perfect role for gaining exposure to a fast-paced startup environment! You will report to the Human Experience lead.

About you:

You are outgoing and communicate well with many different types of people. You have a warm presence and enjoy making people feel welcomed. You’re organized and excited to grow your administrative and coordination skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Greet visitors and candidates (check-in, COVID tests administration, NDAs, etc.).
  • Help host joe’s (CEO) visitors; check in, drinks, get them settled in the correct office, etc.
  • Help receive and organize packages for various teams.
  • Support interview scheduling and help ensure seamless coordination; providing high-touch, high-quality communication to candidates.
  • Support employee onboarding and off-boarding tasks.
  • Be in charge of the front desk phone.
  • Monitor the parking lot, assisting with gate access when needed for visitors or deliveries.
  • Assist with other cross-functional administrative duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned; i.e. we’re a startup and we help where we’re needed. We have a humble, no-task-too-small attitude.
  • You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have customer service, hospitality, office admin, or other similar experience.
  • Have proficiency with various software tools, including Google Suite and project/task management.
  • Have a positive attitude and friendly, open demeanor.
  • Have a desire to gain experience working in a startup environment.
  • Have an interest in science and longevity and extending healthy human lifespan!
