Retirement Financial Infrastructure Senior Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship services for money movement and financial integrations.
• Work on payments, settlements, reconciliation, and corrections with customer funds.
• Build and support compliance workflows like payroll integration and KYC/KYB.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party providers (payments, tax, compliance).
• Partner with product, compliance, and ops to scope work and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Debug production issues, improve reliability, observability, and tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering shipping production products or platforms.
• Strong experience with services, APIs, and data-heavy workflows.
• Experience with financial systems, payments, or high-correctness domains.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end, including production support.
• Experience partnering with PMs and cross-functional teams.
• Ruby on Rails experience (or comparable backend framework).
