- Perform qualification of plate-based assays (MSD and ELISA) for human and mouse biofluids.
- Perform CSF collection from mice.
- Process brain tissue for ELISAs, Western Blots and MSD assays.
- Participate in human PBMC culturing and downstream processing (RNA, DNA, protein extraction).
- Process animal tissue for downstream assays, including mouse brain cryosectioning and imaging.
- Support development of new assays to support our rapidly progressing research.
- Analyze and present experimental data to internal teams and collaborators.
- Maintain an electronic lab notebook and contribute to supporting documents.
- Perform regular lab organization activities and ordering.
🎯 Requirements
- B.S. in biology, neuroscience, or related field with 2+ years experience or an M.S.
- Strong fundamentals: pipetting, serial dilutions, plate-based assays, and tissue processing.
- Organized, detail-oriented; plan your day, label meticulously, follow SOPs.
- Ability to turn raw data into interpretable figures and communicate results clearly.
- Learn quickly, enjoy iterative experimentation, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Mission-driven and excited to contribute to extending healthy human lifespan!
- Experience with running Western blots is a plus.
- Experience with immunohistochemistry and mouse brain cryosectioning is a plus.
