📋 Description

• Sample Collection and Processing: Oversee collection, prep, and processing per protocols.
• Sample Storage and Management: Ensure proper storage conditions (temp, humidity) for samples.
• Database Management and Data Analysis: Manage the sample database and assist data analysis and reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure HIPAA/IRB and QC per accreditation standards.
• Collaboration with Researchers: Collaborate with researchers to determine sample needs and usage.
• Research Support: Assist in designing and executing studies using biorepository samples.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 0-2 years in a lab or biorepository focusing on samples and QA.
• Familiar with biorepository software: FreezerPro, LabArchives, LabWare, LIMS.
• Regulatory knowledge: HIPAA, GxP, CLIA, IRB.
• Data analysis and database skills (Excel, SPSS, R).
• SQL and Python skills a plus.
