Research Associate 1

📋 Description

• Normalize plasma samples and extract nucleic acids with automated/manual methods
• Load sequencing-ready libraries onto NGS platforms (NovaSeq/iSeq/MiSeq/NextSeq)
• Determine nucleic acid quantity/quality using Quant-iT, Qubit, Nanodrop
• Track samples and inventory using LIMS or Google Sheets
• Maintain accurate lab records with Google Sheets, Excel, and internal databases
• Review SOPs and suggest process improvements to SMEs as needed

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in biological science or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of related laboratory experience
• Proficient in pipetting and general lab practices
• Hands-on experience with NGS platforms NovaSeq iSeq MiSeq NextSeq
• Experience with nucleic acid techniques (extraction, quantification)
• Knowledge of LIMS and Google Sheets; strong record-keeping
