Research Associate 1

📋 Description

• Manage collection, prep, and processing of biological samples per protocol.
• Label and document samples to ensure traceability.
• Oversee storage conditions, including cryopreservation and ambient storage.
• Maintain sample databases and assist data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, IRB, CLIA) and QC procedures.
• Collaborate with researchers to provide sample availability and support.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field (preferred).
• 0-2 years of lab or biorepository experience focusing on sample management.
• Experience with FreezerPro, LabArchives, LabWare, Snowflake DB, or LIMS.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance: HIPAA, IRB, CLIA.
• Data analysis skills in Excel, SPSS, or R.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python is a plus.
