Gathering, creating, and integrating data from diverse sources into Janes’ unmanned systems database.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Air, Land, Sea, C4ISR and Weapons teams) to analyse and interpret equipment-level data across unmanned platforms such as UAVs, USVs, and UGVs, and understand their interactions with other systems.
Staying abreast of emerging defence technologies relevant to unmanned systems, autonomy, sensors, and payloads.
Identifying gaps in the existing unmanned systems dataset and proposing solutions to improve coverage and accuracy.
Sourcing, validating, and verifying data points using primary and secondary research methods, aligned with Janes’ sourcing standards.
Conducting investigative research and engaging with Government agencies, industry partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other relevant organisations to gather information when required.
