Are you a strategic product marketer with a passion for transforming complex technology into compelling narratives that drive market adoption? As a strategic leader at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, you will lead the entire product marketing function at Rescale. You will serve as a key linchpin, connecting how we understand our customers, what we build for them, and how we bring our solutions to market.
This role requires an experienced leader who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on builder, comfortable with crafting high-impact content, partnering with sales to close multi-threaded deals, and building the infrastructure to scale our go-to-market efforts. You will be instrumental in shaping how our company shows up in the market and in building a more customer-centric, scalable, and effective revenue engine.
What You'll Do
Lead the Product Marketing Function: Define and implement the strategy, structure, and operating model for a high-performing product marketing team. You will establish clear ownership, scalable processes, and cross-functional rhythms that position product marketing as a strategic partner to Marketing, Product, and Sales.
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Quarterback product launches across the organization, partnering with Product Management to define and execute go-to-market plans. You will align cross-functional teams around successful launch and adoption, establishing a repeatable rhythm that connects upstream planning, downstream execution, and post-launch feedback.
Develop Global Positioning and Messaging: Lead efforts to understand who we serve, how they make decisions, and what drives their success. You will translate complex technical capabilities into compelling, differentiated value propositions and messaging that resonate across the buyer journey, from campaigns to sales enablement and product experiences. Build platform-level and product-specific narratives and value propositions that highlight Rescale’s differentiators. Test and validate messaging with customer insights and feedback. Localize for specific geographic markets as needed.
Develop Sales Enablement Content: Develop sales enablement content, including presentations, training, battlecards, and objection handling documents. You will ensure the sales team is confident, consistent, and well-equipped to win, particularly in multi-stakeholder deals with high ACV (annual contract value). Define and track KPIs to demonstrate the effectiveness of sales assets.
Create High-Impact Content: Lead the creation of enterprise-grade content and collateral, including decks, one-pagers, case studies, eBooks, creative calls to action and whitepapers. Build content that differentiates Rescale. Prepare materials for keynote presentations, webinars and panel discussions. Produce one white paper per quarter.
Customer Advocacy: Develop relationships with key customers, helping to turn these customers into advocates and references for our platform. Come up with creative customer reference approaches.
Drive Competitive and Market Intelligence: Assess the market and competitive landscape to articulate our unique differentiation. You will maintain competitive intelligence and positioning frameworks to help the sales team win in competitive situations.
Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage a team of talented product marketers, providing ongoing coaching and development to ensure the team delivers exceptional market-facing content and sales enablement materials.
Performance Monitoring & Measurement: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue and pipeline, leveraging data to inform future product marketing and go-to-market strategies.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience. Demonstrated success scaling product marketing at a fast-growing startup. Accustomed to working with cross-disciplinary teams across an organization, including demand generation, brand, sales, partners, and product management/engineering.
Technical Savvy: You’re comfortable getting into the technical details and translating complex capabilities into clear, differentiated stories. Able to navigate emerging and advanced technology trends.
GTM Expertise: Expertise in customer segmentation, positioning, packaging, and go-to-market strategy with a history of driving measurable outcomes across acquisition, retention, and monetization.
Cross-Functional Leadership: A proven track record of working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and executive teams to drive cross-functional go-to-market initiatives. You can navigate ambiguity and lead through influence, aligning stakeholders across the organization.
Data-Driven: You use customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and sales feedback to shape positioning. You’re proactive and programmatic, optimizing for what drives successful product launches and customer deal closures.
Writer at Heart: You enjoy producing compelling content, and can deliver a high quantity of quality deliverables on a continuous basis. You know just the right message that will resonate with each audience.
Excellent Communicator: You have excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills. You can present with polish and confidence to executive leaders, cross-functional teams, and customers. You are able to sift through all the jargon to tell a clear, differentiated story that resonates in the market

Results-Oriented: You are a proactive, results-driven leader who takes ownership of new projects and consistently achieves results, even under ambiguous or difficult circumstances.
AI-Savvy: Demonstrated success using AI in your day-to-day workflow.
Analyst Relations experience a plus.
