Payroll Specialist Lead - Japan

📋 Description

• Act as SME for payroll country and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers.
• Process end-to-end payroll in-house with compliance, approvals and payments.
• Ensure data integrity and quality across payroll data.
• Accounting/reconciliations; focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Mentor payroll specialists and back up regional managers.
• Work asynchronously in a global remote team.

🎯 Requirements

• Payroll management experience
• Knowledge of payroll best practices
• SAP and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
• Analytical mindset and problem solving
• Able to adapt to fast-paced, international, async environment
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
