- Bring new welding equipment online and validate parameters
- Complete GTAW weld ops on development and flight hardware including manual weld repairs
- Perform dimensional and visual weld inspections
- Precision blending using hand tools to prep surfaces for welding and NDE
- Identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing process; ensure safety
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years welding or fabrication experience
- 5+ years GTAW welding experience (Aluminum, Stainless or Inconel)
- Strong fabrication and metalworking skills (cutting, grinding, machining)
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Work in confined spaces and at heights; must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Nice-to-haves: robotic welding systems, aerospace welding standards, GD&T, good communication
