Senior EHS Specialist - Electrical Safety

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary EHS specialist embedded with engineering and operations on electrical safety.
• Review Electrical Hazard Analyses (EHAs) and approve Work Permits.
• Conduct electrical safety reviews of DC high voltage system hardware and processes; provide safety requirements and recommendations.
• Identify, assess, and analyze potential DC electrical safety hazards, risks and controls for high voltage assets and processes.
• Actively participate in design and test readiness review meetings with engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Develop and implement risk reduction strategies to minimize incidents and ensure a safe working environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, including electrical safety; 1+ years lithium-ion battery safety.
• OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, ASME, DOE-HDBK-1092-2013 familiarity.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and investigations in technical environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• CSP or CHST or OSHA-30/General Industry (preferred).
