About the Team:

The Propulsion team at Relativity is focused on developing and delivering highly performant and manufacturableengines for Terran R. Engineers are responsible for the entire lifecycle of their parts, from initial design throughproduction to qualification and flight. The team fosters a culture of bottoms-up decision-making, free fromtechnical gatekeeping, where ownership and accountability are key at all levels. But designing engines with aquarter million pounds of thrust is just the beginning. As the flight configuration enters qualification, the team isnow exploring modifications for future engines, including thrust upgrades, new cycles, and design for massproduction.

About the Role:

This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5am-3:30pm PT, Monday through Friday.

  • Operate cold spray equipment independently

  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop expertise in cold spray technology.

  • Assist in setting up and preparing equipment for production runs.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Perform basic inspections of coated parts to ensure they meet required specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety guidelines.

  • Work closely with experienced team members to improve skills and efficiency.

  • Be open to learning new techniques and contributing to process improvements.

About You:

  • Strong experience with powder spraying manufacturing

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Hands-on experience with robotic operating and maneuvering

  • Experience with cold spray manufacturing
