- Assist patients and families to transform maladaptive eating patterns into healthy food relationships via ongoing support.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans via telehealth, including initial nutrition assessment, meal plan, and weight targets.
- Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and support progress toward treatment goals.
- Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to the team; provide education to resolve issues.
- Echo the treatment teamβs directives in interactions with families and assist with discharge planning.
- Reassess nutritional needs regularly and update treatment plans; document progress in EMR.
π― Requirements
- ACEND Accreditation
- Licensed RDN (eating disorder experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (ACEND-approved)
- Telehealth/virtual care experience
- Interdisciplinary team experience
- Caseload management and organizational skills
