Registered Behavior Technician (School Based)

📋 Description

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan.
• Establish relationships with students, families, and school teams.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.
• Document interventions and progress toward goals.
• Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior plan.
• Provide training and support to help the student acquire and maintain skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) Certified or pursuing certification (paid for by BAYADA)
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
