- Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan.
- Establish relationships with students, families, and school teams.
- Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.
- Document interventions and progress toward goals.
- Collect behavior data as specified in the client behavior plan.
- Provide training and support to help the student acquire and maintain skills.
🎯 Requirements
- Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) Certified or pursuing certification (paid for by BAYADA)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
