Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician Academy (School Based)

📋 Description

• Work directly with students in the classroom following the established service plan.
• Establish and maintain relationships with students, clients, and school teams; respect families’ input.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.
• Document interventions and progress toward goals; collect behavior data per client plan.
• Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help students acquire and maintain skills to meet identified goals.
• Support school-age children to succeed with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid by BAYADA).
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not required.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available).
