We are looking for an experienced B2C e-commerce and platform logistics professional to lead and scale refurbed’s shipping and delivery experience across all markets we operate in. This role combines deep logistics expertise, strong Product & Tech understanding, and commercial acumen. The person will own the strategic development and hands-on execution of delivery propositions that enhance customer experience while enabling our sellers to operate efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity and structure are essential for success in this role.
They will be the business expert on all shipping and delivery topics at refurbed — deeply understanding how our sellers manage logistics, identifying scalable solutions that improve the customer journey, and defining the “what” and “why” for Product, Tech, and other teams — from ideal solutions to preferred partners and operating models.Given our lean setup, this is a highly hands-on role — you will drive initiatives from concept to execution, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to make things happen.
WHO YOU ARE:
- You bring several years of e-commerce logistics experience and combine operational know-how with strong Product, Tech, and commercial fluency.
- You think highly analytically and structure complexity into clear business opportunities and scalable operational solutions.
- You collaborate and influence effectively across teams and partners, driving alignment and execution.
- You’re entrepreneurial, hands-on, and data-driven, using AI and tech to make smarter, faster decisions (Fluent in English; German a plus).
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Define and execute refurbed’s shipping and delivery strategy, with focus on opportunities like express shipping, locally preferred carriers, reverse logistics, alternative delivery locations.
- Act as business owner for logistics initiatives, shaping scalable, seller-friendly solutions with Product & Tech.
- Build and validate business cases for new shipping models that enhance customer experience and seller adoption.
- Manage and negotiate with carrier partners, ensuring strong relationships, performance, and alignment, while developing one Carrier & Operations Manager.
