Senior Software Engineer, Ads Experimentation Platform

Overview
You will design and build the Ads Experimentation Platform used to run and measure ad experiments across Reddit’s ads ecosystem. You will collaborate with Ads Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to deliver scalable, reliable experimentation features, pipelines, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services for experimentation platform
- Build instrumentation to accurately measure experiment outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features and improve experiment quality
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to system design reviews
Qualifications
- Strong backend development experience in distributed systems
- Experience with data instrumentation and experimentation frameworks
- Proficiency in languages commonly used for backend services (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
