Role Overview
Senior Manager, Mid-Market Sales (Goods) at Reddit leads a high-performing sales team focused on mid-market opportunities for Reddit’s Goods offerings. You will build and manage a robust pipeline, close deals, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and customer success. This full-time, on-site role is based in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of mid-market sales professionals; set strategy and achieve quarterly and annual quotas.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for Reddit’s Goods offerings; identify and close new business within mid-market accounts.
- Own end-to-end sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract negotiations; manage pipeline using CRM; forecast accurately.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and high win rates.
- Build and nurture relationships with executives at mid-market accounts; translate business needs into solutions.
- Recruit, hire, and develop talent; contribute to hiring and performance reviews.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies to maximize value for customers and Reddit.
Qualifications
- Typically 8+ years of sales experience in mid-market or enterprise software/SaaS; proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong leadership and people management skills; ability to coach and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities; comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- Analytical mindset with experience forecasting and pipeline management; proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Collaborative, customer-centric mindset with a passion for building lasting client relationships.
