Reddit is seeking a Machine Learning Manager for PF&O (Recommendations & Forecasting) to lead a team responsible for building and maintaining machine learning systems that power recommendations and forecasting across Reddit's PF&O products. This is a remote role aligned with North America.

About the role

• Lead a team of ML engineers focused on PF&O (Recommendations & Forecasting).
• Define ML strategy and roadmaps for systems powering recommendations and forecasting.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and platform teams to deliver impactful ML products.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing ML team; drive scalable production ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee end-to-end ML solutions from model development to deployment.
• Establish governance, monitoring, and ML lifecycle practices (MLOps).
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into ML initiatives with measurable impact.
• Ensure models are robust, fair, and scalable in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning leadership or management roles.
• Hands-on experience with recommender systems and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong MLOps experience and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
