Overview

Engineering Manager - Ads Experimentation Platform at Reddit. You will lead the Ads Experimentation Platform team responsible for building scalable experimentation infrastructure that powers Reddit's advertising products. You will partner with Product, Data Science, ML, and Site Reliability to ship high-impact features, improve experiment quality, and ensure reliability, security, and privacy. You will hire, coach, and grow engineers, define the team's roadmap, manage delivery, and drive a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and roadmap for the Ads Experimentation Platform.
• Lead design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration of experiments, feature flags, data instrumentation, and measurement signals.
• Collaborate with the Ads organization to align product goals and deliver measurable impact.
• Coach and grow engineers, manage performance, and build a high-performing team.
• Ensure production reliability, operational excellence, incident response, security, and compliance.
• Balance speed, quality, and maintainability while shipping meaningful product enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership experience with a track record of delivering large-scale platforms.
• Strong people management and mentorship skills; proven ability to hire and develop engineers.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing), feature flag systems, distributed systems, and cloud deployments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Product, Data Science, ML, and Platform teams.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in advertising technology is a plus.
