Content Strategist, Spain (Contract)

Overview

Reddit is seeking a Content Strategist for Spain on a contract basis. This remote role is open to candidates across Europe, with a focus on Spanish-language content for Reddit's Spanish-speaking communities and Spain-specific initiatives. You will partner with localization, editorial, product, and marketing teams to plan, produce, and optimize content that drives engagement and upholds Reddit's brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the Spanish content strategy and editorial calendar for Spain and Spanish-speaking audiences.
• Collaborate with localization and product marketing to tailor content to regional audiences and ensure cultural relevance and regulatory alignment.
• Define content briefs, guide writers and editors, and oversee quality across all Spanish-language formats (articles, posts, help content, guides).
• Optimize content for discovery and SEO, measure performance with analytics, and report insights to stakeholders.
• Manage workflows, timelines, and cross-functional coordination to deliver high-quality content on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in content strategy, editorial planning, or content marketing; track record of delivering content programs in multilingual or regional contexts (Spanish preferred).
• Excellent writing and editing in Spanish (and English desirable).
• Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and content performance metrics.
• Strong collaboration, project management, and ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment.
