Reddit is seeking a Community Manager for France on a contract basis. This remote role invites you to engage with Reddit communities in France, moderate discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow Reddit’s presence while upholding the platform’s guidelines.

Role Overview

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing French-speaking Reddit communities, creating local content, and ensuring a positive, respectful environment across Reddit’s communities in France.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to community conversations in French (and English as needed).
• Create and curate content to engage French-speaking users.
• Moderate user-generated content in line with Reddit’s guidelines.
• Collaborate with product, policy, and marketing teams on community initiatives.
• Track engagement metrics and report on community health.
• Build relationships with community moderators and creators.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication in French; English proficiency helpful.
• Experience in community management, social media, or online communities.
• Familiarity with Reddit platform, moderation tools, and content guidelines.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple conversations.
• Contract role availability.
