Recovery and Restoration Engineer - Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

📋 Description

• Rebuild and secure on-prem and cloud infra after ransomware incidents.
• Lead recovery across identity, compute, storage, and cloud.
• Manage AD, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V, and backups.
• Build remediation plans with oversight from senior engineers.
• Travel to client sites up to 50% for hands-on recovery.
• Mentor junior engineers during engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 admin
• VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
• PowerShell scripting; AzureAD/ExchangeOnline/Graph API familiarity
• Backup restoration workflows and immutable storage
• Identity security: Conditional Access, Defender, and EOP
• Firewall platforms and network segmentation
