Core responsibilities: Minimum 5 years of related experience in software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education/experienceUnderstand our client's fast-moving business requirements and work effectively in teams and with the client.Be able to understand business requirements and work effectively in teams and with the client.Negotiate appropriate solutions with multiple stakeholdersWrite and maintain scalable enterprise-quality software while building a serverless cloud with PythonProficiency in Python, and AWS CloudContribute to our backend architecture, including our REST APIs, serverless components, and databasesResponsible for building out new features, updating existing services and state machines, integration with external APIs, contributing to our CICD workflows.Build software components that integrate with a workflow engine and/or ESB to execute asynchronous business processesHelping the team write automated integration tests between the various services.Manage the complete software development life cycleWrite software using modern software engineering techniques that minimize defects.Identify new opportunities, tools, and services to enhance the custom software platformSupport and troubleshoot issues (process & system), identify root cause, and proactively recommend sustainable corrective actions Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Python development working in an enterprise environment.Hands-on experience managing distributed systems and clustersProven experience working with building out new features, updating existing services and state machines, integration with external APIs, and contributing to our CICD workflows.Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgresExperience with Integration testing and automationExperience building cloud applications with AWS serverless technologies, including State machines, ECS Fargate, cloud formationDemonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in delivering working softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience participating on an agile teamIs self-directed and can effectively contribute with little supervisionBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical discipline; Nice to Have'sDockerJavaNodeJsUI/UX Additional Information Competitive salaries and eligibility for a yearly bonus
