Welding Specialist

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain WPS, PQRs, WPQs.
• Collaborate with production to plan welding operations.
• Design and fabricate weld tooling.
• Conduct hands-on welding to train technicians.
• Audit supplier welding and ensure code compliance.
• Order consumables and tooling for welding operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Welding Technology or Materials Science preferred.
• High school diploma with significant welding experience encouraged.
• Experience with GTAW, GMAW, OTW, or laser welding in production.
• Ability to perform welding tasks independently.
• Mentor technicians on welding best practices.
• Track welding processes and ensure compliance with codes/standards.
